HISTORY Established in 1982, Fustabloc started out as a manufacturer of wooden notepad holder for desks, including the paper. Fustabloc is now the leading company on the Iberian Peninsula in terms of developing paper notepad blocks with stamping on the sides for communication purposes. PHILOSOPHY Since we began, our policy has been to invest in constant improvement, development and the creation of new products, such as blocks of self-adhesive paper. Supported by the technological basis we developed, new graphic arts departments were set up, both at a digital level and the conventional large format level. Fustabloc cooperates with the protection of the environment by keeping recycling records for all the waste it generates and by contracting certified companies for the removal of said waste, both chemical and physical. FACILITIES Fustabloc has modernised the facilities at each and every one if its departments over recent years. This modernisation process has been made possible by the policy of constant reinvestment in improvements that we have applied since 2001. We at Fustabloc are aware of how important it is to preserve the environment. For that reason, we have invested in significant environmental advances through the removal of alcohol from the printing process. The water we use for printing is previously purified using the inverse osmosis method in order to provide balance and does not depend on the quality of the public water supply. The air conditioning systems in the most important areas also help to stabilise the working temperature and the temperature of the raw materials. The use of CTP increases start-up speed, as well as the connection between the printing machinery and the pre-print files. In certain departments, it is quite usual to order customised and exclusive machinery that can not be reproduced on the market. The constant improvements to the production process, from the PDF workflow to automated pallet output, have helped to significantly increase production capacity in each and every department. None of these improvements would be effective if the company did not have a wide range of professionals who ensure that the investments made by the company are effective every step of the way.
